Six Soldiers Killed and Three Missing In Taraba

Nine Soldiers that were deployed to the Karimlamido local government area of Taraba State to maintain peace were reportedly attacked by some ambushed Fulani herdsmen on Thursday leaving six killed and the three missing.

The state’s acting governor, Abubakar Sani Danladi, is from Karimlamido local government area of the state.

TheNation says The killings took place between Amar and Kambari settlements, which share boundary with Plateau State.

Sources said the victims, nine in number were deployed to maintain law and order in the area before they were attacked by the herdsmen.

The bodies of the slain soldiers were recovered and taken to a morgue in Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo.
