The epistle of change, ShoutOutNaija's epic memo.

Today saw the writing and rewriting of history in Nigeria, ask me how, then I will tell you i've never seen Nigerians with so much anticipation for Democracy day. Now you know am right, ain't I? We all know why, well the day has come it was so great a day I kept thinking oh how persistence pays. That man kept failing each time he tried, but for the latter glory he never gave up. But this time he finally did it.  He promised not only change but to be for all. Should incase you missed the inauguration here are 5 quotes I culled from the presidents speech :-
(Pls read well in hausa accent)
* I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody. (not even Jagaban)
*There will be no paying off old scores. The past is prologue. (at least Fayose & Fani Kayode can be at peace)
*The blood of those great ancestors flow in our veins. (just the founding ancestors I think, the ruling ones I doubt)
*I will not have kept my own trust with the Nigerian people if I allow others abuse theirs under my watch.(hope you won't allow them do the ruling, we trusted them they failed us. Even called us fools for doing so)
*We have an opportunity. Let us take it. (exactly why we voted for you sir).
His reign started today when the flag was reflown and our now former president I heard should be on the way back to that manger Otuoke. How is it my business? Well he has helped averted Anarchy, and the new president did say he has written his name in gold.
One thing I know for sure now is, one of the doves that were released to spread peace and change earlier today just got to my state. So it's starting from here first.
So, for those who don't know  yet President Goodluck Jonathan is now our former president.
President Muhammadu Buhari is now our president.
God bless our great nation Nigeria,....
God bless you and me,....
Happy Democracy Day peeps and welcome to a new government, the one that promises us change.
Shall we stand for the national anthem....

N.B the words in brackets are the writers own views.
